SES Astra signs framework deal with TeleCable to unveil Astra2Connect

Europe-based satellite SES ASTRA has entered into an agreement with Spain-based cable service provider TeleCable for marketing its two-way satellite broadband service-ASTRA2Connect- in Asturias, a Northern part of the country. SES Astra signed this framework deal via its subsidiary ASTRA Broadband Services (ABBS). TeleCable intends to expand this service throughout Spain in the future, which would offer internet telephony and a high-speed broadband internet access. The company plans to deploy this service in the 1H (first half) of this month.
